This has been one of my favorite FF’s to come out since FFX. This game has easily make it to third place on my favorite list. FF7 being first, followed by FFX and then FFXIII-2. 

The secret ending left me hanging. I’m not gonna spoil it… but for those of you that are working your ass off to get all 160 fragments, get to it! That’s the fun part. So do it for the completion of the game, and not for the secret ending. I had my hopes up the entire time I was gunning for all 160… only to be left hanging on to the story line wondering wtf is gonna happen.

Regardless of all that this game has been fantastic. Great characters. Great clarification of the entire plot. LOVED the battle system. Crystarium is awesome. Live Trigger scenes were cool, as were the in battle cut scenes. Random battles brought back made me happy, and that you could still run away if you wanted to pick your battles. And most importantly having a Moogle in your party just always makes you happy. He’s so cute ^_^.

Though with the “to be continued” at the end of the story, it just makes me wonder what they’re gonna do. Are they going to make a XIII-3? I think that might be a bit much…. but then again after XIII flopped they did XIII-2 and it’s such a massive hit. So I guess you never know. I’m in love with all of the characters so I don’t think I’d mind seeing XIII-3, as much as I’d die to see a VII-2. And in retrospect, thinking about it… I didn’t really mind FFX-2 all that much. Most people hated it, but I enjoyed it. I thought it was interesting and different. And a pretty good spin off of the amazing game that was FFX. I figure most people hated X-2 because they just kept comparing it to X. But that’s their own problem.

Anyway. Now that I’m Final Fantasy-less for a while… I guess it’s back to playing other stuff.

Can’t wait for Street Fighter X Tekken next month. <3
